Way easier trick, dunno y almost no1 use it, found by indy1995: just insert mw2 in ur ps3, go to online lobby, then leave game ans start black ops (w/o restarting ps3), then u get NAT TYpe open A few of my friends with moderate and strict NAT types can confirm this method.

Made me a moderate NAT after update. Changed settings in my router and made it open. Then about and week later and some change it started going back to moderate NAT. So I set my router back to factory settings and it went back to open NAT. Since then it's mostly been open but sometimes it goes back to moderate.
